Artist Insights

My work is a continuous exploration of the perceived boundary between the observer and the observed. Through 'Ways to Be Seen', I delve into the architectural nature of vulnerability—how we construct identities as both shelters and spectacles. Each stroke is a negotiation between the classical rigor of my training and the fluid, unpredictable nature of symbolic femininity.

The relationship between space and form dictates the emotional weight of my pieces. Influenced by the structural logic of my architectural studies at the AA, I treat the canvas as a site of intervention where memory and materiality collide. These insights serve as the foundation for the archival series, inviting you to see beyond the surface into the fragile structures of the self.
